ditowins Traffic enforcer injured in Bulacan road mishap

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan, Philippines — A traffic enforcer was injured after he was hit by a car in Santa Maria town in this province yesterday morning.

“Those who hid and made it difficult for the government to take them into custody are not usually allowed house arrest,” he added.

Salvador dela Cruz Jr. was rushed to the Rogaciano M. Mercado Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Reports said Dela Cruz was managing traffic in Barangay Bagbaguin at around 10:20 a.m. when he was hit by the car driven by Philip Cris Antonie Baynito of Barangay Ramon Magsaysay.

The impact threw Dela Cruz several meters away, according to Col. Satur Ediong, Santa Maria police chief.

Dela Cruz’s colleague brought Baynito to the police station for proper disposition.ditowins
